Also, I have my first grown-up audition a week from today. As in.. first theater audition since high school. Eep!!
For the record, this is the first time I’ve heard this song. My head is literally exploding from all the instruments and fun the Roots are having.
Been meaning to do an Of Monsters and Men cover for a while now, the problem is that they have such lush instrumentation and harmonies that it’s hard to find a good one to strip down to one voice and one acoustic guitar. But after putting it off for long enough, I decided this would be the one. You can’t see it, but I threw in the tambourine on my foot for good measure. It’s a little buzz-y in the beginning, but that’s because my fingers were wimping out on me.
